Staff rota maker for a small frontline business
A staff rota maker for a small frontline business is a weekly grid, not a workforce system. One manager adds the people and the shifts that repeat, copies last week, and publishes. The team opens one link. They do not sign in, and there is no app to install.
Build the rota for one team
List the people who can work and the shifts you reuse, such as open, mid, and close. A company is one team, with up to 50 active employees. The first week takes the setup. Later weeks start from the previous rota.
Copy last week
Most rotas look like the last one. Copy last week and change only the days that moved, including days off. A draft stays private until you publish, so a half-finished rota is not what the team follows.
Send one link
Publishing gives the team one read-only link. Publishing again updates that same link. You can also download a wall PDF whose QR code opens the link. Talk about cover in the chats you already use. The rota they should follow is the published one.
What this rota maker leaves out
Skeday does not clock people in, swap shifts, run payroll, or build the rota automatically. The price is $5 per month for the whole team after a 14-day trial, and the trial does not ask for a card.
